Migdal Oz

This unusual name for God comes straight from the Hebrew language.
It really is the same as in a previous post.
(Click HERE to see "My Strong Tower")

This name had special meaning this last week,
as we faced an unexpected death.
We were forced to lean on "Migdal Oz",
our Strong Tower,
for strength and courage
to face the grief
caused from the self-inflicted death of my grandson's father.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
(Migdal Oz)
the righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10

"Weeping may endure for the night,
but JOY comes in the morning!"
Psalm 30:5

I am so sorry for your loss.

Suicide is incredibly difficult for the survivors. I hope your Grandson can find a suicide support group to help him through this tragedy.

Sending prayers of solace and peace to you all.

Hello Esther Joy, I am so terribly sorry to hear about the suicide. I cannot imagine coming to that place when you finally end your own life. God is now his resting place. I believe with all my heart that if this man knew God, then he is in Heaven.
Our God is indeed a stronghold..

How painful to watch your grandson experience this. Praying God will be near to all of us. Thanking God for being our strong tower.
