|"My soul thirsts for God,|
FOR THE LIVING GOD..."
"My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out
FOR THE LIVING GOD."
The verses above were written by "The Sons of Korah".
|A little over two years ago I did a post on Joy4Today|
entitled Earthquakes, Psalms, and the Sons of Korah.
The "Sons of Korah" are a great example of trusting
El Chay, the Living God.
Instead of becoming bitter about the calamity that affected their lives,
they chose to trust and praise God.
(Click on the highlighted letters above to find out more about the tragedy
the Sons of Korah had to face.)
I want to be like the "Sons of Korah",
and run to the Living God
when life gets tough,
instead of running away from Him.
The Sons of Korah remind me of a song that goes something like this:
"...And the chains that seem to bind you,
will drop powerless behind you,
when you praise Him."
